I. (iii) Project Design

1.   As mentioned  in Chapter I (i), a lot of efforts are being put in by the State Government  to increase  the  production  with  the  help  of  technology  up-gradation  and  dissemination  of technology amongst the farmers. However there are critical gaps existing in the present system, described  in Chapter  I (i), because  of which the producers  are not in a position to get the reasonable value for their produce.

2.   To address these critical gaps the following Components and Sub-components are proposed in the  MACP.  All  the  subcomponents  have  been  considered  in an  integrated  manner  so  that maximum benefit is achieved by the farmers.
